At its core, LitterProject is an act of love. Love for people who thrive when they do good, love for our home which is so much bigger than the walls that keep us warm and dry at night.
In some ways we are less ‘superheroes,’ and more ‘practical parents.’ We have so much to concern ourselves with, as the selfishness and carelessness that creates litter, is the same selfishness that seems on display as our current administration shreds common-sense science and basic environmental and humanitarian protections. And so, there is also much to do.
We must take acts of self-love and home-love into every sphere of life. We must be awake. We must make a difference every day.
We are all in it together.
