Kudos to the ‘Twin City’ Pick up Artists!

Recently, my 13 yr old son started a walk/jog club with a mission to pick up litter along the way. He also started a FB page asking for volunteers to meet once a week, and help keep our community clean. He coined the name “Twin City Pick Up Artists,” and already has almost 20 members committing to meet once a week at a designated park or neighborhood.
Gina went on to describe how the inspiration behind the Pick Up Artists: she’d always felt litter was the ultimate disrespect for our world in which we all share. In passing along her dislike for litter (and also her passion for making the world a better place), she taught her children to pick up at least 2 pieces of litter per day when walking. Now, her son Grant has started a club out of this idea and inspired many others to join in.
